Extra Curricular Clubs
We believe that children should have the opportunity to engage in activities outside of the curriculum! At Badger Hill we offer a variety of different activities for all children:
- Sport for all-cross country, football, netball, multi sports, dance and zumba
- Reading for Pleasure- Library sessions and book clubs
- Craft/cooking club
- Art club
- Gardening club
Ignite Experiences
We believe in offering all children as many ‘experiences’ as possible to enhance and bring their learning alive! This happens in the following ways:
- Class visits linked to the curriculum -Murton Park, Railway museum, Chocolate Story, Cliffords Tower
- Residential to Peat Rigg
- Make Music Day
- Young Voices
- Theatre Trips
- PlayHouse Project
- University Visits
School Council
We elect our school council each year and they are chosen to represent the pupil voice at Badger Hill. We believe that all children should have a voice and an input into how our school is run!
Mrs Faxon organises the school council and holds weekly meetings.
